I've been working from home for three years now, so this is really nothing new to me. But, I did spruce up my working area by hanging some photos that are special to me.
The big Springsteen print is one I shot in Asbury Park in 2018. The one below it is a very famous shot by photographer @barryschneierphotography . I've gotten to know Barry over the past few years, and he gifted the beautiful print to me.
On the left side of Barry's print is my shot of Little Steven and Bruce - from Stevie's Soulfire kick off in Asbury Park, May 2019. I love their expressions.
On the right side, a little hard to see, is my photo of @thegaslightanthem on The Stone Pony Summer Stage in August 2018. The New York Times licensed this photo from me to run in their big article about The Stone Pony in October 2018, so this will always be a special print to me
On either side of the big Bruce print are photos of me and my family at the entrances to Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons from July 2019. We loved that trip and I think about it often.
And the paintings were two that my daughter did. She's quite artistic and I love them.
The little straw hat is a pava I got from @thatvivian and @garyschapman during our last work photoshoot trip to Puerto Rico in December 2019. It's now covers the back of an old 17-85mm lens.
The Yashica camera works - bought it for $25. Like a tank.
The wooden letter opener is from a trip the Dominican Republic about 19 years ago - the first trip my wife (then girlfriend) and I took together.
Coffee mug is from the music club, @crossroadsgarwoodnj in New Jersey. Reminds me of great shows
Laptop is an IBM ThinkPad. Work issued. No big screens for me.
Notebook is from @acmoorecrafts. I like orange.
Lamp is from, not sure where. At least 22 years old.
And, My Adidas (1 of two pairs)
Every picture tells a story.
Show me your office!
