Do you currently use an essence in your routine? I enjoy having an essence in mines to provide my skin with that nourishment and hydration it craves. An all time favorite essence of mines is the #missha time revolution first treatment essence. I started using this about 4 years ago when they had their first generation formula. Since then, they’ve reformulated so many times that I’ve lost count. The one I’m currently using is their 4th generation formula which is the pro ferment alpha or RX. I’m glad that I’m still getting the same results as I did from the 1st generation version.
This watery essence contains yeast ferment extract, niacinamide, bifidia ferment lysate, sodium PCA, adenosine, rice extract, pearl powder, ceramide, and cholesterol to provide you with smoother, brighter, plumper, firmer, and more hydrated skin. According to Missha, their 4th generation of this essence claims to have double the moisturizing benefits than their 3rd gen, thanks to their newly added 95% cica enzyme ferment extract. I’m unsure of what this really means but in terms of how this product performs, it shows on my skin. This preps my skin for the following steps in my routine while also providing enough hydration for my skin on it’s own. Oh, there’s also no added fragrance of any kind. I have to clarify that I didn’t see results from using this immediately. I only started noticing the changes after a couple weeks, and whenever I stopped using it. My skin just seems to look better when I have this in my routine. It’s brighter and more hydrated so I’ll happily continue using it until I find something better.
Overall, I love this essence, and I’m already almost out of it. I have an essence from another brand in my stash to try after I finish this one. I can’t wait to compare results afterwards. I’ll definitely repurchase the Missha one after I’ve gone through my current stash of essences unless one of the other ones outperforms it. Have you guys tried this essence yet? If so, what are your thoughts?
